”Beautiful garden setting, with a traditional timber yurt cleverly constructed to seamlessly provide bathroom facilities and hanging space. The gazebo and sitting areas alongside the yurt were gorgeous and added to the sense of privacy. The owner was welcoming. We were here in winter in chilly conditions but the yurt was well equipped with heating and we were perfectly comfortable.”

”Paula and Jamie were so lovely and helpful. They upgraded us to Blue Slate Cottage as we wanted to cook more. They gave us fresh eggs and herbs from the chook pen and garden. Both cottages were were delightful with good facilities and plenty of firewood. There were lots of kangaroos, deer, goats, ducks and an emu on the property. The property is an easy drive Wombeyan Caves and Taralga. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the peace and quiet an extra day”

”My wife and I had a very relaxing longweek end at Hidaaway far from the hustle and bustle of Sydney. The property was beautiful, well maintained and had all the creature comforts. When heading away for a weekend or longer, we always pack a bag of staples as usually here is sometimes not provided such as salt peper, olive oil and the like. Not this time, everything we need, including ice, was provided. Thank you to Matt and family, you have a beautiful part of the word. Best regards Sean and Jody”

”Wonderful clean, small, warm and welcom ing. Interesting, quirky, in the bush . Everything worked very well and was basic but very comfortable. owner communicated well and there privacy at the accomodation. The road in was dirt but very well maintained. highly recommended for an interesting, different style of small stay directly adjacent to the national park.”
