We spend one night in William Wallace room and it was really cool! Book it if you can. It is worth of every penny. The second night we were at regular room at ground level. It was clean and nice room.
Lots of parking space.
The Dungeon restaurant was very nice experience, food was very good.
Breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of choises.
The castle grounds offers interesting hikes and beautiful scenery.

âWe loved our one night stay here. I was worried because I didnât realize there was no lift on the property, but the staff was very helpful in getting us to our room. â
âWe were made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked through the door. The room was very clean and comfortable. Both evening meals and breakfast were superb and all this was topped off by staff who were exceptional and very attentive. â

âThere was no one at the desk. Self check in via the hotel email. Room was on 2nd floor up two flights of winding stairs not easy to maneuver with luggage. Limited food at the hotel. Did have free parking. Very old building not handicap accessible. Room was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom was very small couldnât open the door all the way. Not recommended for older people or anyone who canât do stairs.â
âWe really enjoyed the beer garden in the afternoon. The wait staff at the bar, dinner and breakfast were very good. The room was a little small but very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice too. Weâd definitely recommend this hotel.â
âWe had a lovely time. From the moment we were greeted at reception on the first day till the day we left. Everyone was so nice and couldnât have done enough for us. Our 2 dogs were made so welcome and our dining experience wasnât reduced in any way because of them. Harriet should get a mention as nothing was too much trouble for her. It was also lovely to meet the owner Bill who made sure everything was running smoothly. We cannot empathise how fabulous the food was. Simply amazing. An excellent...
âHotel location is good, the room is updated and clean. Make to order breakfast is included. Great Service. On site parking is limited, but there are plenty of off site parking in the back.â
âGreat staff. Very accommodating especially sorting a disabled shower seat and toilet handles for my disabled father in law. Beds very comfortable. Rooms immaculate. Breakfast great. Will definitely return. â
