”Good value hotel accomodation. Free parking. Helpful staff. Yes the hotel is dated definitely not contemporary..look out for the bird pictures. the gold bobble wall decorations, the few steps up to first floor ( not sure how that worked!), the fish tank and the school hall looking breakfast room...but....the rooms are very clean, towels clean, great simple breakfast (lovely waffles) and all at a very reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again”

”I stayed in the hotel for a single night alone during my trip to England. The location is rather remote from the main city centre and the surroundings near the hotel are a bit dodgy, without any services nearby. On the positive side, the Strood train station is very near the hotel, so if using this station the location is very convenient. No reserved parking is available at the hotel, only regular street parking.
