”We found the Glenmore, because the hotel we normally stay at was closed for renovations. What an absolute gem of a find! The hotel is centrally located, the room was very comfortable and in great condition. Most importantly, all of the staff here were absolutely amazing. Possibly the best hotel spirit experience I’ve ever had when you take everything into consideration. We look forward to coming back to Catalina, as we come back frequently, and we will be choosing to stay here from here on.”

Exactly what to expect on an island vacation, I see other reviews that are a little more particular, and just laugh because they don’t seem like people that are comfortable living the chill Island life and expect everything to be five stars all day. ”Luxurious hotel located in one of the highest points of the island. Beautiful views, spacious and convenient. Will definitely be back. ”

”Clean, cozy, and friendly staff. Cycled from Avalon and stayed overnight. Views were amazing. Nice wine and cheese offered at 5:30pm and good breakfast before biking back. Only one restaurant opened this time of year and they drove us there for dinner which was great since we had no car. Would definitely stay here again. ”

”The room was very clean, quiet and cozy. A lot of stairs so I got plenty of exercises. The cottage had pretty much everything you need. The store was just 2 blocks away and coffee was right down the street. The place was fun and the staff was very helpful anf friendly. I'll be back. ”

”Appreciated the convenient location, beautiful beach and wonderful, helpful staff all around. Had some difficulties beyond their control with power outages and a scary elevator moment plus noise from construction nearby so it wasn’t as quiet as we’d hoped but again, beyond anyone’s control. Would definitely stay again. ”
