We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was super friendly and very helpful with what we needed. We did arrive a few hours before the designated check in time, but the staff were accommodating and were able to get us into our room quickly and without trouble.
The hotel itself was beautiful on the inside and the location offered a lot of great views. We stayed in one of the corner rooms and our room had the perfect view of Lake Michigan and Grant Skate Park on one side and the other we were able to see the high-rise buildings in the city. The location was very convenient, everything we planned on going to was walking distance and it felt safe. We were there for a concert at Soldier Field and the walk was about 15-20 mins but didn't feel that long because of the path you could take right through the park. There were a lot of pedicabs on standby to get you wherever if you didn't feel like walking too, or the drive would've been about 5 mins from the hotel.
The hotel did offer a 24hr valet parking service which we felt was a huge convenience, because parking in the downtown area is ridiculous and expensive. The fee during our stay was $70 per night which was just taken out of our incidental hold (which was $75 per night). I'm not too sure if that's always the fee or if that's what it was due to the event going on during our stay, but either way I'm glad it was offered.
Only Cons: The elevators were sort of crazy, and the gym room was fairly small.
