”Sadly the hotel did not meet our expectations. The first room we were allocated had mold round the windows and in the bathroom and it smelt funny. The staff were very good and gave us a new room but it still wasn't great. It is possible that we were just in the old part of the hotel - if so, avoid low number rooms. Breakfast was good and location nice.”

”This hotel is close to the City Centre and has around 5 parking spaces for clients. The staff were very kind and helpful. The property is very old and each room is named after the Cathedral bishops. The room was light and airy with windows that open. We were at the back and there is a public path which was a bit noisy. The rooms are fine but could do with some updating. The breakfast was made to order and hot which cannot be said for more modern hotels in the City.”

”Like the name tells, George and Dragon is an inn, not a fancy shining hotel, but it is a very cosy and nice place to stay for a couple of nights. The rooms are tidy and located in a separate building apart from the pub in the backyard, so the pub activities did not disturb our good night sleeps. There's a selection of traditional English style breakfast choices available in the morning which guarantee the calories for the rest of the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful! ”

”Hotelli on lähellä kaikkia kauppat. Auton pysäköinti on helppoa. Itse hotelli on rakenettu 1700 luvulla ja historiallinen. Huonemme oli iso ja mukava. Ainoa puute oli pieni jääkaapi. Palvelu toimii. Ravintola ja ruokka on hyvä ja väki kohteliatta ja mukavia. Huulen heittoa toimii. Hissi ei ole mutta laukumme oli viettu huoneseen. Suositelemme.”

”Karmea viemärinhaju vessassa. Ei pystynyt käymään edes pesulla, ettei haju leviä huoneeseen missä pitäisi nukkua. Lattiamatot tosi tunkkasia ja elämää nähneitä. Sänky oli hyvä ja mukava. Kännykkäverkot tosi huonot. WLAn ei kuulunut huoneisiin.”

”Grant could not have been more helpful. He assisted us with changing the accommodation due to my wife’s sight problems. Basically very friendly and welcoming.”

”A lovely little hotel a couple of minutes walk away from the beach and 10 minutes walk from the theatre and restaurants. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable … quite a small bathroom but fine for a night’s stay. It was quite warm in the room and we couldn’t open one of the windows as the latch was broken. To be fair I don’t think the staff were aware of the problem until we mentioned it. A fan had already been provided in the room. But really we...

”This was our 2nd stay when visiting Portsmouth for gigs. The hotel team are always very freindly and helpful. The breakfast is always good with good selection of fruits and juices to compliment ( if you actually have room). Free parking on a 1st come basis. All in all a great place to stay when in Pompey!”
