”Room are clean, plenty of parking, closer to restaurants and gas stations.”

As a solo female traveler I find it EXTREMELY alarming that maintenance was able to open my hotel room door despite having both locks on the door. It was around 8:30 in the morning when they woke me up by entering my room. Like why did they have to enter the room to check the broken bathroom door that early? The reservation was under my very femme sounding name and showed only one guest. The staff knew this and still allowed two men to enter...

”the food for breakfast that you offered tasted like cardboard the oatmeal was runny not oatmeal the orange juice was not orange juice eggs and meat on both days were not eggs or meat they all looked like food but the food was not the real deal other than the breakfast food and it was NOT the preparers it was the food ... the staff and the room were execellent it was the food that was disapointing coffee was good also if i am paying 800 for 2 nights i expect real food ”

”I picked this hotel because it recieved a 6.8 "Good" rating on Expedia. It was far from good. I would have given it a 0 but that was not an option.The entire property is run down and dirty on the outside. The room clearly had not been cleaned. Therr was residue on the toilet seat, floors, mirrors and chairs. The tub was stained. Rust on the walls and ceiling in the bathroom. ”I have stayed many times to visit my son who attends CMU. This hotel is closest one to the campus that surrounded with good restaurant options. It is about 5 to 10 mins walk to both CMU and Pitts. ”

”Hotel is beautiful; lobby area great-seating & indoor fireplace, can relax with your group. Great rooftop patio with tables & seats-you can take beverages and food from 1st floor restaurant/bar up to enjoy view of Monongahela River. Restaurant/bar area was welcoming & open til 10 pm. (Fantastic coffee shop, De Fer Coffee & Tea located across the street from hotel - highly recommend). Staff friendly & efficient.
