”This place is awesome! We stayed for 4 nights and we could have stayed forever. The property and rooms are fantastic. My wife and I walked the gardens for hours every day. It's such a peaceful break. The rooms have excellent AC, beautiful views, and everything was so clean. I don't normally write reviews but the Inn at Middleton Place deserves it. You can clearly see the effort they put in to every aspect of the stay. The fact that you get free passes to the gardens is such a good deal...

”We came back to our hotel room one afternoon to realize there were no parking spots available. When we called the front desk we were told there was an event happening and we (the paying guest at what we thought was our home away from home) were told to park in remote parking. Essentially the event people were given priority over guests. This is not acceptable behaviour for a hotel. We will not be staying at a Hilton property in the future.”

”Upon check in we discovered that there were crumbs and debris on the floor of our room. After going to the front desk asking if there was a vacuum I could use, the person at the desk informed me that there was no cleaners on site at this time and that the vacuums were locked up. Thankfully he was able to get us into a different room that did not have these issues. The gym was pretty basic with some dumbbells going up to 50lb and some treadmill and elliptical machines. ”Looks like a new facility that was exceptional in it's cleanliness and maintenance. Staff could care less. They have a paying job. Two exceptions to the statement about the staff were a young lady who suddenly walked through the front door to check us in after we had been standing at registration about 10 to 12 minutes. The other exception was a maid (i.e. after I had returned to the hotel after breakfast out, "I " greeted the two idel employees at registration with..." good morning "....

”I am giving this hotel a 1-star overall rating because my stay was extremely disappointing and honestly unacceptable. The biggest issue was the condition of our room. It felt very damp and had a strong mold and mildew smell the entire time we were there. It got so bad that my wife and I had to make a trip to Walmart just to buy DampRid and Lysol Air Sanitizer spray to make the room somewhat bearable. ”We were always greeted when we came in and sometimes when we left. Everything was clean and well kept. There were plenty of choices for breakfast. The bathroom was roomy and bright. Could’ve used a make up mirror though. We would definitely stay here again!”
