”The best part of our stay was the food in the restaurant. It was exceptional. The worst part was the 38 steps up to our top floor room and the quarter mile walk to the car park. The bed was comfortable, the Nespresso coffee maker was nice and the shower was just OK, having only a rain head and no wand. The bar is great for what’s on the bar menu but lame for US cocktails. For instance, the bartender didn’t know what either a manhattan or Rob Roy was.”

The location was fantastic, everywhere we wanted to visit in the Cotswolds was within around 30 minutes, which made it the perfect base for exploring. The food was really nice, the room was clean and quiet, and we especially loved the comfy bed, nice bathroom and great shower. ”We loved staying here between our visit to Oxford and Bath. The house was very comfortable and gave us the feel for the Cotswolds even though we only stayed one night.
