”Lovely, historical building, hence a bit of a trek to the top floor (no lift, of course). Very clean, plenty of tea, water, biscuits etc. in the room. Very nice breakfast staff but when my husband queried the price of a Guinness & packet of crisps being a bit steep (£9.30), the bar lady snapped back "It's not my fault" which we didn't think, in terms of customer service, was quite the correct response!! Easy 5 minute walk to the town centre.”

”Even though the main down stairs wasn’t open due to reverb we had a lovely time of the terrace bar. Rooms were amazing and so beautifully accommodating for dogs. Only thing we would say is the staff didn’t clear the tables quickly so a lot of messy tables but over al we can’t wait to come back, thank you ”

”Charming hotel in the center of Cirencester with friendly staff. Rooms are on the small side but have everything you need. Note that there is no A/C but there was a fan in my room that kept things pleasantly cool. There is no lift so rooms may not be accessible for everyone (but they can help you carry your suitcases to the room). ”Dinner in the pub was great.
Cooked breakfast was served very quickly and was fantastic.
As a surveyor, is say that extract fan not working in the ensuite to Room 4 will mean that the room will get a musty smell if not sorted.

”The Masons Arms is a delightful country pub with rooms that is a charming example of Cotswold tradition and tastefully updated rooms. The pub itself serves very good and reasonably priced traditional pub food in a traditional and quaint setting. Service is friendly and efficient. The inclusive traditional Full English Breakfast was generous and spot on. We would certainly return. A special mention of Kate who was very helpful and friendly. ”
