”From the mom ent you arrive you feel immersed into the culture and people of Northern Ireland. The proprietor, Catherine, welcomed us into her home, offering tea and home-baked sweet-cakes, a lively discussion of the history and workings of the local establishment. We felt pampered, such a warm welcome. The room, beds/linens was ao comfortable, with plenty of amenities. Breakfast was made to order, generous and very delicious. ”Booked a short stay and chose Crockgarve after reading the reviews. To be honest it seemed too good to be true but I am thrilled to be proven wrong. The location and room was stunning and exactly what we needed for our stay. What really made it special was Margo. Margo could not do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible from the welcome drink with her and her husband to the amazing breakfasts, you are made to feel so welcome and part of the family. ”There is no dryer on this property (the listing says washer and dryer) which I specifically booked this house in the middle of our trip to do a bit of laundry and now I just have lots of wet laundry sitting in my vehicle hoping it will dry before it gets smelly.”

”The rooms are not the ones in the photos on the website. They are dated, freezing cold, the windows are drafty, walls are paper thin and the bathroom is very grubby. ”

”It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!”
