”I wasn't sure what to expect before I arrived at the Derby Arms but the initial greeting was warm and sincere. My room was delightful, clean and well appointed with a good sized bathroom with both a bath and a choice of shower heads. For both nights I ate in the restaurant and was served by a charming and efficient waitress. ”The hotel was very beautiful old building. The apartment was spatious, bathrooms were very nice, but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the temperature in the room was too high. Windows couldn't be kept open because of the terrible smell from the cows next to the hotel!”

”This is the 5th time we’ve stayed here in a year. Excellent stay, we were a little early for check in, however we had been sent the check in details earlier, so we entered the building to see if the room was ready, I was greeted at our room by a staff member/owner, he was putting the heating on in all the rooms because it was so cold - very thoughtful touch. He even helped us upstairs with our bags. Couldn’t fault the service. We stayed for 3 nights - the only thing I would of loved was a few...
