”Great location / price. Clean and tidy. Close to town, pubs, canal. Parked outside on road no problem. Internet connection very poor. Shower pressure not brilliant.”

”The hotel was well located to the centre of town and the main railway station. The staff were excellent and very accommodation with baggage storage and a room change we had to make. Unfortunately one of their guests on Jan 20th smoked Marijuana and the ground stairs lobby and lift stank of the smoke. Shame because of this i could only give them 3 stars.”

”Nice hotel lovely areas to sit. I only booked the lowest price room but it was clean and had everything we needed. ”

”Lovely place but you can tell everything is very old fashioned, doesn’t really look up to date. But other than that’s it’s an okay place to stay with really nice staff.”

”The bathroom was not clean there was 3 pillows for a couple which is strange. There was no fridge and the room was a bit tired. Breakfast was ok, no granola no berries or topping for porridge. There was a bit of dried out rocked not oil for it. No fresh breads and coffee wasn’t nice. Also we could hear our neighbours who were noisy late into the night.”

”Lovely clean rooms, great shower! Very doggie friendly. Roaring fires and beautiful food. 10oz steak and peppercorn sauce cooked to perfection. The Coffee and tiramisu sundae exceptional. We will be back!”
