”From the minite we arrived we found the staff to be ftiendly, polite and helpful. On site car parking available. Rooms are excrllent. Ours had a lovely balcony view over bay. Food at breakfast was very good with excellent hot and cold choices. We tried the sauna and hot yub on 2 days before brekfast and found them really relaxing. I would highly recommend this hotel. We will be retutning.”

”First time I’ve never really been impressed with the staff. On arrival they didn’t even acknowledge our presence - both tapping away on their computers - until one finally acknowledged us and said the other one would check us in. After another while, she finally just said “surname”!! No smile, no greeting. Nothing. Apart from that, great hotel as always. Close to great restaurants and walking distance of town. ”

”Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hotel has heartfelt staff who made us feel welcome. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, and we loved having a nice breakfast served right to our table each morning. The hotel itself is in a beautiful building and neighborhood, with the added convenience of having parking available. It's in a fantastic location, with several nice restaurants and a supermarket nearby. We especially enjoyed being able to easily walk to Bute Park, and from there, on to...

”Great sized room and bathroom. Was little worried about the possible noise from pub downstairs, but it was not an issue. Bed was very comfortable to sleep in. Easy to get in and out, even during early mornings, when the pub was not open. Very helpful staff. Good accommodation near the city.”

”No fridge , no safe , no PowerPoint near bed side , no usb ports , felt like a motel disguised as a hotel . Rude staff. Interest to ask for trolley etc . Not allowed to go to carpark via resteraunt . Why walk all the way around with luggage makes no sense . Cardiff generally friendly city this was terrible ! Tv not working in one room as internet not working . No one cares . No one should stay here . ”

If you're after something more fancy this will not be for you, but if you just want a solid place to sleep then it's a good choice.”
