”Très bon établissement, très pratique, avec un bon parking , bien situé. Le petit déjeuné vaut le coût. Le personnel est très sympathique, avec juste un bémol. Attention pour les non- anglophones, si vous avez déjà payé votre réservation, n’hésitez pas à insister pour bien faire comprendre que la chambre a été payée.”

”We had a lovely stay, the farm is stunning, we loved the access to the gardens and watching the cows and chickens and our host Sarah was great. The only thing I would suggest would be placing a fan in the rooms as they can get really hot in the unusually warm weather”

”This is a charming country house and everyone was amazing. We enjoyed a walk around the property and the food was spot on. You can’t go wrong staying here if in the neighborhood. If you’re also familiar wrote ceramics, you’ll find several ships about 10-15 mins away that is a great place to browse and shop. ”

”Difficult to get to due to being gated and having to request entry via the intercom. Room was reasonably clean and quite basic. Headboard was hard, but the bed was comfortable. Surprisingly they still use old fashioned keys for door entry. Reception was closed at 0930 when we checked out and dropped off the key in a box attached to the wall.”

”Beautiful room nice and warm and products provided. Arrived just before they stopped serving food but the staff were very helpful and delicious meals were served up. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was really nice and freshly cooked and hwalthy ootions too”

”Check-in was great and the family room we booked was clean and a good size. I removed some stars based on a couple of things. The service, mostly 20 somethings, didn’t come with much of a smile which seems normal these days unless they are well trained by the older generation who realise what service means. ”Impressive in arrival this countryside hotel and conference centre at first glance appeals. There is also ample parking. Many hotels allow early check in if one arrives ahead of check in time. Moat House staff were less accommodating and seemed to have a hard and fast rule. However, when we sat in the lobby with our suitcases and backpacks half an hour ahead of check in time, they quickly and pleasantly attended to us.
