”The rooms are a nice size and the staff are above average. The lobby has plenty of seats to lounge around in. They need to fix their sprinkler heads which are too close to the sidewalk and are a serious trip hazard which I mentioned in my last visit over a year ago. I guess they don’t mind a lawsuit. Other than that it’s still a great hotel”

”Good location easy access to other areas of Markham. Hotel was not that clean, we found crumbs and cookie stains on the mattress topper on the sofa bed once we rolled it out. We requested new mattress topper and it was awkward, the guy didn’t take the dirty one away until we insisted he take it. They always only provided 3 towels even when we booked for 4 people. We requested additional and it never came. Pool water seems dirty, it’s not clear. ”

”STAY AWAY! Shady business and disgusting conditions. This place is an absolute dump and a total scam. Upon arrival, they refused to honor my booking unless I paid a $300 CASH deposit. They wouldn't take a standard credit card hold, which is incredibly suspicious and feels like a total shakedown. As soon as you walk into the lobby, you're hit with a foul, stagnant smell that tells you everything you need to know about their hygiene standards. Negatives: microwave was not rotating and rusted; there were no place to hang outside closes; towels were on microwave and not in the bathroom; door did not have lock inside, only outside; there were no internal phone or any way to call management; internet was locked and password was not provided; lamp on the night stand was broken, no USB ports. ”
