”A quirky place. Mark is very friendly, but keeps a tight ship. It is small and he seems to be the hotel staff, so check in is exact: not before17.00 unless by asking. It is dog friendly, but only in 2 rooms. The highlight was the superb restaurant Jambo with a strong Kenyan influence. Outstanding There is also by repute an excellent Thai restaurant out the back, but unlike Jambo not dog friendly. ”

”Room was lovely and way bigger than expected. Staff were fantastic and the pub is beautiful with stone floors and wooden beams. Big beer garden with children's play area, although it rained overnight so we couldn't go out and enjoy it but looked fab”

”This hotel is amazing! We booked our stay there based on the pictures online. We had no idea how beautiful the place would be. We stayed in a converted Georgian townhouse. To get to our room, we walked through the center garden to a different building. It was exquisite and made you feel the history of the buildings. The location was perfect. We were within a five minute walk of the Roman baths and the Pump Room. It took us about fifteen minutes to get to the Jane Austen Society, the Roman...

”Just had a three Night stay at the Thames Head Inn and really cant fault it. All of the staff were cheerful and friendly from book in, bar, chef and waitresses. Our room was very cosy and ultra clean, and the the biscuits and tea and coffee facilities were very much appreciated. We visited Tetbury, Cirencester and Bath. All were very nice. The food is good also. We know from experience how disappointing and hit and miss accommodation can be but not The Thames Head. I would fully recommend it ”

”Very helpful receptionist on arrival . Others in my party didn't check in until nearly midnight so different check in staff but also very friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was good - help yourself buffet style, but they did close the service bang on time so make sure you are there and served before the cut off. Rooms were spotless, comfortable and well appointed. Standard and type C USB charging points in several spots in the room. Wi Fi connection was good. Lots of parking spaces....
