”Under renovation (which is a good thing). Room was nice and clean (although carpets are stained in hallways and in room...hope that new carpetting is in the renovation plan). I didn't use pool or hot tub, but looked really tempting! The biggest beef was breakfast or lack thereof. Waffles (standard to most hotels nowadays, but all they had beside that was toast and cold cereal (but I didn't see any milk). Coffee was out. I ended up going to Denny's. Bed comfortable. ”I gave it two stars because the staff was friendly. That was good, because after two requests and during the four day stay, our room was never made up or cleaned. We had to get our own towels and TP. There were no bugs, but I’m surprised with a large gap around the door, which also let in smoke from those standing outside smoking.The bedding was clean despite the old cigarette burn holes in the sheet and blanket. Floor was dirty. bathroom was dirty.”

”I stayed in this hotel for three nights on a recent visit to Phoenix. The room and bath were both clean and well-kept. The A/C worked well, which was especially important since Phoenix was experiencing record high temps for this time of year. I didn't have to use the kitchenette much, but it was nice to have. ”We had never stayed at a WoodSpring Suites and only booked it due to the lower price and shorter stay. The manager "on duty" was nice and kind upon arrival. The room however, was not worth recommending. The bathtub was dirty, the floors were dirty, the full-sized bed was on a frame that felt so unstable and of poor quality.
