Check in was awful. We were given keys to 2 different rooms on different floors & neither were ready to be occupied. So we had to keep going back to the front desk moving our luggage from floor to floor. Finally the third room was ready for us to occupy after some time. No communication between staff. Tried to use the pool and outside areas. but pool was full of deprie and bugs. Cushions and chairs in outside area that looked great online were dirty, torn cushions and unkept. Cigarette butts in the fireplaces and seating area. We asked twice if they could clean the pool so we could use it next day in our stay and they basically ignored us. We tried to talk to manager and he basically lied saying they clean the pool twice a day, the leaves from the trees were the problem and the week before they had spring break and no one complained?! There were trees near the pool but the amount of deprie in the bottom of the pool and dead bugs in it clearly showed it had not been cleaned for some time.
Room itself was cheaply furnished but was clean.
However not once our entire stay did we see any maintenance person doing anything about the outside conditions. This is Phoenix; you should be able to enjoy a pool and the outside!
