”Frances is such a brilliant host. I arrived to tea and freshly baked scones and a lovely chat after my 3 hour drive from Loch Ness. The shared kitchen/lounge has plenty of room for guests and my room was large and spotlessly clean. I had the opportunity to chat to other guests and in the evening a short walk took me to the Village Green where the pipe band was playing. I had dinner at The Clachan, which was recommended by Frances, and I was not disappointed. Drymen is a lovely village to...

Things to remember, they don't do breakfast but there are cafes and a hotel across the road for breakfast. The room was clean and well stocked for staying but a little dated. Very comfortable bed. ”A cosy and nice hotel. Service and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was quite what you would expect, although points to the hotel for having also something else than english breakfast. Weakest coffee we had the entire trip though. The room was great, however the matress was 20cm smaller than should be on the bed. It was also smaller than in the pictures and wasn’t that comfortable. ”
