”room could of been better cleaned ,Staff excellent,Bed not very comfortable”

”We had a brief overnight stay but it was all we needed it to be. There were some local options for eating as well as in the hotel and the breakfast was nice enough. The staff were friendly when we interacted with them. The room was standard for The Holiday Inn and comfortable enough. There were plenty of car parking spaces but there is a charge for overnight parking.”

”The room was beautiful and clean. Very good amenities, including an ironing board and an iron which is a rare treat! The staff were great and it was nice to have the pub downstairs. Breakfast was exceptional 👌 cooked to order.”

”Basic hotel. Clean, nice spacious room. Bathroom needs renovation. Taps, sink, toilet etc. Room was nice with wooden walls. Great bed. Restaurant okay. Food and service excellent, atmosphere not so much. Parking was easy. Location is nowhere, so be prepared for that. You get what you pay for.”

”It could be a lovely hotel if the staff smiled and had a clue what was going on. There was a lovely and friendly lady on reception, and one of the waiter serving in the evening was friendly, as was one of the bar staff (Josh). Everyone else seemed a bit surprised to have guests, and the women working at the bar weee positively rude in their demeanour. It could definitely do with an injection of cash to update it. The money all seems to have gone on an overly complicated lighting system in the...

”A nice stay, with a very good breakfast. A few maintenance issues in the bedroom which needed addressing with a paint brush, and some cleaning issues, which were loose cotton threads from the sheets scattered everywhere. Simple stuff to do to get 5 stars, and to ensure standards are as they should be.”

”We visited the hotel for a business meetings nearby. The place is very traditional English Inn. Nice pub with good food. The rooms are clean and ok, but the place is a little worn down. I a still like it.”

”Comfortable stay. Nice room n0 260 everything was clean complimentary fridge items were a nice bonus. Staff were pleasant. Shopping area not too far away. Just thought there was only a swimming pool on site but to my amazement they had a jacuzzi steam and sauna too. Didn't see any mention of this when booking online but it was a great surprise which we made the most of on our 2 night stay. Travelled from there to Milton Keynes for Reggae Land.”

”Great stay here as a mum and daughter. Room, facilitates and food were excellent. The gardens are beautiful with peacocks everywhere. The males were fanning out their beautiful tail feathers! Only downfall was the poor water pressure in the rooms shower and horrific noise it made after about 5 mins of it running! Sounded like an airplane taking off!”
