”Great hotel to stay in with a beautiful atmosphere and an amazing view from the room. The staff were lovely, friendly, and always helpful, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The pool and hot tub were very good — clean, relaxing, and perfect after a long day. The room itself was comfortable, spacious, and well maintained. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.”

”Our room was 205 room needs a bit of an upgrade plus the floor was running on a slant so if you moved on the bed to quick you could fall out on to the floor apart from that everything was fine staff very helpful food was good I know it's an old building but these things matter also we would have no hesitation coming back to stay again maybe just another room thanks”

”Room was very clean the view from the room was looking over the river, having a balcony was lovely if it was summer time it would have been lovely sitting outside. Room 204 highly recommend. Evening meal of chicken supreme was excellent. ”

”Easy parking and helpful staff. Breakfast had many lovely choices hot and cold. Quiet for nice atmosphere and good rest. Our room was sorely in need of plumbing maintenance in that both the shower did not drain and backed up over the bathroom floor and started to encroach onto carpet so we had to have short shower and ask for more towels to soak up water, and toilet was not flushing intermittently. Both issues brought to attention of front staff who apologized and scheduled maintenance....

”Great location in town centre. Stay spoiled by sewer odour in bathroom that couldn’t be disguised by the scented bottle they put in there. Property also didn’t reply to an email I sent about an item I left behind in the room.”

”Pretty remote so if you’re out driving, make sure you become familiar with the (fairly convenient) bus schedule, although it’s a half mile from the bus stop, or be prepared to pay a healthy taxi/Uber fare from Keswick. The grounds are lovely and rooms/common areas well-maintained. Breakfast doesn’t start until 0745, very inconvenient for an early start. Staff could be a little more helpful in pointing out bus schedule, local attractions, arranging cabs, etc. a nice experience overall.”

”Beautiful property very close to towne, which is lovely, wonderful breakfast, helpful staff! Only issue was no dinner available at restaurant. Other than that it was awesome! We loved this stop on our travels throughout europe”
