”We found the Westerwood to be very charming. We used the spa facilities, watched the world cup game in the evening, and played a round of golf in the morning. Disappointing that we were never offered a scorecard from the pro shop, also be aware the course is pretty long and you need to pre-book a buggy! The course was lovely, well maintained and worth the hike!”

”Das Zimmer ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bett war dennoch bequem. Die Dusche hatte keinen großen Druck. Das Hotel hat auf jedenfall dringend eine Renovierung nötig. Es ist zudem extrem hellhörig und die Anlage sehr ungepflegt. Rings rum gibt es einen Supermarkt und etliche Fastfoodketten.”

”The property was good but everything else was bad, the rooms very smelling damp, the sheets were smelling, there absolutely no hot water, the utensils were dirty, there was no WiFi”

”Hintaansa nähden ok paikka yöpyä. Vuode oli riittävän kokoinen kahdelle, kylpyhuone todella pieni, eikä siinä juuri ollut yksityisyyttä, mutta siihen osasimme varautua. Parkkitilaa löytyi ja sijainti hyvä, valtatien varrella, kun teimme autolla retkiä ja kävimme majapaikassa vain nukkumassa. Todella mukava henkilökunta.”

”Second stay since it became Vcity and this one was much better. Stayed in room 106 which can be a little noisy earlier in the evening but fine for sleep. No issues with the room or facilities. Communication with host good.”

”Unfortunately our stay here wasn't the best. Firstly the roads round it are all closed off so finding the place was extremely difficult. It seems that I was sent an email to advise us that we would be offered a room in a sister hotel. I never recieved it so we turned up expecting to stay here. It took for ever to get there then the signs for the place are awful. In fairness to them it appears they have only just opened but this wasn't mentioned when I booked. ”The room albeit quite small was very comfy and nicely done out. I found it really hard to sleep though as the green emergency light made the room very light when I am used to sleeping in total darkness”

”We had the most amazing stay at this cosy, comfortable cabin surrounded by greenery. It was like living in a tree house. The birdsong was beautiful as were the sunsets and views of the night sky. The cabin was spacious enough for two and had everything we needed for our week long stay, including parking. There is a log fire with plenty of wood for cold days but we were very lucky with the weather and had warm sunshine every day which made the cabin warm and cosy to come back to after days out....

”The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. However, the room let the experience down — the bed sheet was old and had iron burn marks, and the shower was dirty and electric kettle not well maintained. Overall, a mixed stay with great service and food, but improvements are needed in room cleanliness.”

”Great place for an overnight stay or two. Easy to find ample parking either on street or to the rear of the property. Great little place, decent clean and well kept. Room was comfortable and slept well. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and easy check in and out.”

”A very comfortable room, with a nice clean bathroom. A warm welcome from reception. A very good restaurant. Minor issues for improvement are with the signing. It’s not quite clear from the upper level of the car park where reception is (it’s down the steps) nor was it clear how to enter the restaurant from the stairs. However very reasonably priced and better than a soulless Travelodge.”
