”What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine.”

”Staff are approchable and went to the trouble of wishing one of our party birthday wishes following a throw away comment about the reason for our visit. There was a wedding function the weekend we stayed and there was no distruption or loud noises. Very relaxed atmosphere and very good breakfast. The evening menu is a little limited in choice but we found the quality of food good.”

”Booked a twin and double room. Rooms clean and well appointed with a communal kitchen area for use by guests. Did not use breakfast service as we left in the morning before the hotel staff had arrived. Only small complaint was that the staff were unable to open the connecting door between the 2 rooms which would have made things a lot easier. ”

”No towels in room on arrival and the room window handle was missing so could not close which caused a draft all night.”

”Had a lovely stay here. Room was sufficient, bathroom was clean. Bed was comfy. It's in a great location. 15 mins from train station. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was a cold buffet, cereals, toast, yogurt, pasties anc coffees, teas, orange juice. Great, would stay here again.”

”We stayed here for one night with my mum, and our stay was just perfect. The hotel is simply beautiful and has a real castle vibe. The best thing was that the spa was included, which we weren't aware of before arriving. We had nice dinner at the hotel and then enjoyed the rest of the evening in the spa, till it closed. It was truly relaxing stay and on top of that even though I managed to lose my necklace after leaving the spa, when I emailed the hotel later, they had managed to find it and send...

Special thanks to Becks and Angus who helped us enormously when our car broke down in the area. Their kindness meant an awful lot to me and I really was stuck.
