”We arrived late so unfortunately didn’t get to experience the food but the bar and restaurant was lovely and we only wish we could have spent more time here.

”We recently stayed at The Whitehouse Hotel in Peterlee as a group of five, and it was an absolute delight. The rooms were spotless, tastefully decorated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable—just what we needed for a relaxing stay.
Although we hadn’t pre-booked breakfast for all five of us the night before, the staff were more than happy to accommodate us on the day without any fuss, which we really appreciated. That kind of flexibility and friendliness made a big difference.

”Beautiful hotel, not sure how it’s classed as a 3* on Expedia when it’s by far the nicest hotel in Newcastle. The rooms are a great size, clean and cosy and you can tell the hotel has thought of the “little things” that set it apart from a generic Hilton esque experience. ”Stayed in the standard double room. Lovely decor, plenty of space with big patio doors overlooking the grounds. Loved the food in the restaurant (Charchoa), great quality and excellent service. Enjoyed the hour at the swimming pool and sauna. Also dog friendly in the room which was great. Wi-fi connection was also very good and room came with a big flatscreen TV. The bath in the room was also lovely. Also had a drink in the Clubhouse and the prices were reasonable. Would love to come again and...
