”The smell in corridors was awful. Corridors were not clean and walls had broken corners etc. Location is good and beds okay. ”

”Otherwise great stay but the sustainability matters could be improved especially in the breakfast. There is in use plastic utensils and cups which are non-comfortable and pollute the environment. Just our family breakfast produced bag load of trash. Bring in glasses, silverware and such. ”

”Good sized clean room with great air con. I arrived early and my room was ready so that was great. Good facilities for tea and coffee making and a great shower/tub. Although the hotel is a little dated in parts, everything is super clean and the staff are all lovely. I would definitely stay here again, given all the above as well as the easy walk to Sound Transit to get into Seattle”

”We adored our stay at The Maxwell Hotel. The location was perfect for exploring Seattle by foot. Pro tip, there's a garden located on the top floor of the parking garage across the street. It even has a sensory garden for kids! Hotel staff was top notch. Raul, Gucci and Georgia (the later two are canine hotel employees) were fan favs but we encountered ZERO nonsmilers. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!”

”Our room was clean and crisp. Newly remodeled. Comfortable beds and well functioning ac. Breakfast was great and met all family members varied tastes. Staff was super helpful and accommodating. We’d recommend and would stay here again without a second thought. We walked to light rail train station making public transit downtown and to various places for other activities easily accessible.”

”When we arrived, the hotel employees were on strike, which was not disclosed to us before our stay. The room we were initially assigned was directly above the picketing area, where union workers were using megaphones, drums, and banging pots and pans. The noise began around 5:30 AM each day and continued until approximately 6:00 PM, making it nearly impossible to rest, sleep in, or even take a nap during the day. When we first approached the front desk for assistance, the staff was not helpful....

”Great place to stay but the reason I booked was for the hot tub and they advised me when I checked in that it was closed indefinitely 😒 all a gal wants is some relaxation in a hot tub before she gets on a plane after a tiresome vacation. Somehow let travelers know before hand that a hot tub is not available would be nice. But the rooms were good breakfast was great. Transportation to the airport was spectacular and staff was very nice.”

”The staff at least provided a shuttle from the airport. But give us the wrong time for it to leave the next day and we missed the early shuttle. We had to walk across the street to get water bottle since they didn’t have any thing in there amenities refrigerator. One of the elevators was broken and they said it has been broken for a very long time. Many areas look like they have been under construction for a long time.”

”A bit too neutral hotel. Lacking colours totally. Room was spacy but dull. Not a single chair! Breakfast was ample but there was not a single vegetable served. Clean and safe. ”
