”We stay at San Carlos when in NYC. Suite prices are on the high side. We were given a 1 BR suite on the 3rd floor facing 50th St. The street noise (garbage trucks collecting trash especially) made sleeping difficult. The King bed mattress was on the soft side, not very comfortable. Other than that we enjoyed our most recent stay there.”

”Amazing stay for one week in NYC. The staff at the Residence Inn Midtown East are TOP NOTCH, every one of them. We lacked for nothing. Thank you all. The location is convenient for walking and taking the subway system. We will be back! ”

”The quality of service, has deteriorated considerably especially in front desk. The restaurant service was never good in this hotel, starting from the two lady hosts in the morning, waiters who are far from caring, absolutely indifferent and unhappy people waiters ( one time they brought me another food, something I did not order ). On the other hand, they have an impeccable house keeping service. The hotel, rooms, location all are very very good. ”

”Great location, clean and cozy bed/ room. Only negative things were a pretty long wait for the elevators, and the hotel transportation to the JFK. Driver took a bizarre route, and the price came as a shock ($95+tips), compared to Yellow Cab.”

”The hotel was OK but extremely loud, there was construction work on-going next door, even on a Saturday. I do not recommend the basic room on the ground floor, it is even louder with the noice coming from the reception. Also the room was a bit dusty and not very well cleaned.”
