”Our room was huge - more like an apartment! It was spotless and the bed incredibly comfortable. The staff was lovely too.”

”My room was huge and loved the extra make up counter. The bed was very comfortable. Very convenient to downtown! Front desk is always so welcoming. Big lobby and the cafe and bar were nice, they just take a little bit of time, so if you are in a hurry this maybe isn't the best option. Overall the location and size of rooms are worth it.”

”What a gem! I chose The Tennessean for my first trip to Knoxville to tour UTK with my daughter, and it exceeded every expectation. As a former luxury hotel professional, I can confidently say their standards of service and cleanliness are top-tier. The entire staff was incredibly courteous and helpful, and the property itself is beautiful, immaculate, and loaded with wonderful amenities. We loved using the gym, and taking their golf cart shuttle to dinner one night was an absolute highlight!...

”We hot to check in early and asked for a quiet room. The room was ok until the neigbours checked in and put the TV on - it was so loud that the whole floor heard it. We went downstairs to ask help from front desk. Natalie was very helpful and gave us another room, which was very quiet. Excellent service!”

”Good location - walked to market square with plenty of restaurants and shopping. Probably wouldn't want to walk at night, though, as the hotel felt a little more remote. Overall, stay was good. Expensive for one night considering lots of construction around the hotel and parked on the street vs the only other option seemed to be valet. Sheets were a little rough. Breakfast the next morning had good options, but my omelet was not done in the center, so didn't really eat much. Cute lobby, love...

”Only two issues one was the TV. Washed out and tough on the eyes. No fan in bathroom. Clean room, hallways and walk ways. Floors in lobby and restaurant always clean. Staff: Always helpful and pleasant. Breakfast: Oatmeal is ample and delicious. Traditional bacon, egg, potatoes and bread great. Bar: NA Computer and printer available to print airline tickets.”
