”The Pine Marten is very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel building is separate from the pub so no noise. The bedroom was clean with all facilities. The bed was (unlike in some hotels) very comfortable. Had continental breakfast each day at £6 odd. It was adequate but no yoghurt mixed with berries like at Premier Inn and Holiday Inn Express. Also the music being played was dire . Funeral music ”

”Valittiin hotelli hyvän sijainnin takia Royal Mile-lla vanhassa kaupungissa. Edinburghin tärkeämmät nähtävyydet sekä ostoskadut ovat lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä. Läheltä löytyy myös runsaasti vierailun arvoisia ravintoloita. Hieman hämmennystä aiheutti hotellin reception alakerran pubin tarjoilutiskin toisessa päässä. Pubissa iltaisin tietysti menoa ja meininkiä, joka sulkemisaikaan kantautuu jonkun verran kadulta huoneisiin. Ei siis ihan tiukkapipoisille. Entisen pankkirakennuksen huoneet on...

”This has been my favourite find so far. The location is stunning, environment relaxing, the staff are fantastic. I have enjoyed many return visits to dine in the lovely restaurant and to stay. The children feel this is like a home from home and treat some of the staff like family.”

”Very peaceful hotel and the rooms were clean. Service was excellent and kind. Own car was necessary, the buses wouldn't run in the evening. We had to leave before breakfast but were made sandwicheses instead! Good memories, will come again!”

”This little gem of a hotel is tucked into a quiet area just a few minutes walk from the train station. The staff was so kind and helpful. The food at the on site restaurant was amazing, the locals in the bar were friendly, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. There was a large parking lot and local trails for walking. We got our laundry done for a very reasonable price, left folded/hung in our room. Highly recommend! ”

"The staff was really lovely and helpful, the room was spacious amd quiet and beds were really good. The location is perfect, easy to walk anywhere and the breakfast was great! We really enjoyed our stay with my best friend. "
