A basic hotel with good location
The room delivered what it promised and was clean but the structures would need a renovation. The only obvious flaw was the lack of AC, however in summertime you could open the window for sufficient ventilation. Otherwise the common elements in the UK hotels such as wall-to-wall carpet and the moisture coming from the bathroom would have turned the room into a very tropical yet allergenic experience. The room was comfortable, it had enough space in it and the wi-fi worked perfectly. The hotel is located near the Princes Street Gardens but not at the most crowded area which worked perfectly for us. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was fairly quiet although booked almost full. All in all, a fairly good option with some minor flaws for a stay in Edinburgh.

Kiva hotelli hyvällä paikalla
Mukava hotelli hyvällä paikalla. Kävelymatkan päässä suosituista nähtävyyksistä, lähellä paljon kauppoja ja ravintoloita. Huone oli tilava ja melko siisti. Meidän huoneeseen ei kuulunut lainkaan melua. Sisäänkirjautumisen piti alkaa klo 14, mutta me ei saatu heti huonetta, siitä pieni miinus. Aamupala olisi ollut tarjolla, mutta 6,95 puntaa (8,95 samana päivänä ostettuna) hinnalla ei menty kokeilemaan, vaan valittiin aamiaispaikaksi joku lähellä olleista kahviloista. Voisin mennä tänne uudelleenkin.

Hyvällä paikalla keskitason hotelli. Lentokentältä bussipysäkki (pysäkki West End)Airlink 100 hotellin edessä. Kävelymatka uuteen ja vanhaan kaupunkiin. Aamupala kannattaa ostaa edellisenä iltana, hinta silloin 6,95, samana aamuna ostettuna 8,95. Bussilla pääsee hotellin edestä myös eläintarhaan. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Elintarvikekauppa ja kahviloita hotellia vastapäätä. Perhehuone, parisänky ja kerrossänky, mukana 2 teiniä. Huone sisäpihalle päin, ulkoa ei kuulunut mitään. Toisista huoneista kuuluu äänet.

El hotel está en la mejor ubicación. Podes ir caminando a todos lados. Al lado tenes un almacén/kiosco. El personal es muy educado y nos guardaron las valijas hasta poder hacer el check in. La única contra es el tamaño de la habitación. Es demasiado chica. Solo podíamos abrir la valija arriba de la cama por falta de espacio.

It’s definitely an older hotel. Maybe I didn’t read it completely but it feels a bit more like a hostel. It was extremely hot in the hallways and rooms. There’s an oscillating fan you can use though. The staff was very pleasant.

It was close enough to everything I needed, hence my selection of the property. I found myself needing laundry facilities, while none were conveniently available, the property did have selectable "pay for" laundry services

Great location that was walkable to the Royal Mile and transit. Staff was very friendly as well. Our room could use an update, it was looking a little tired and we found the beds to be very uncomfortable. The bathroom was in desperate need of a remodel. The half wall/door meant to contain the water in the shower would not seal properly which meant water would go all over the floor in the bathroom every time someone took a shower. To make it usable, we had to put extra towels on the floor to soak up the water.

The location of the hotel is great, you are right on Princess Street and very central, but unfortunately that is the only positive thing. The rooms were tiny and not clean (hair in the room on arrival, stains on the bedding, very dusty) & the wifi didn't work for 2 days. I wouldn't want to stay there again under any circumstances.

A hotel with excellent value for money. The location is perfect, in the center of Edinburgh with everything close by. the rooms are spacious and clean. friendly staff. The great parts : The hotel is in a great location! Coffee and grocery are right across the street, great pubs and super walkable, and transportation, tram, are directly outside. The staff was super friendly and helpful of any questions or recommendations. If you're looking for a spot to basicslly rest, it's a great choice. Cons : it's super basic. No fridge, no lobby/restaurant/bar, they do provide coffee kettle. The walls are thin so definitely hear your neighbors. The showers, in the double room, are TINY! All in all, I did enjoy my stay. It provided what I needed. I recommend Cityroomz, again for a place to rest in between all the things!

So close to the center of Edinburgh. We were able to do everything by food. There were also so many restaurants close to the hotel: breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner options enough!

Nos dieron una hab para 4 personas enorme! Con un sofá cama y un ventanal a la calle, hermosa vista, la hab fue 113, café, té y leche, la atención fue excelente, gracias a todos❤️

False promise of parking. Had to pay for NPC parking ourselves. Terrible room conditions. Indifferent staff. Avoid this hotel!

The closest parking is at NCP Castle Terrace, and we provide our guests with discount price of 13.50 for 24hrs stay. We do not advertise a free parking space. We do apologize for any inconvenience with the room conditions, we will definitely address these to the Management Team for further review. We are sorry if you felt ignored by our Staff. Excellent place to stay
The location was great! Nice, spacious room. Clean, comfortable bed. The stuff are really nice and friendly. Opportunity to leave the luggage after the check out if you want. ( Someone started to clean our windows outside at 8 a.m.! I’m impressed! )
