”On arrival, gave our room key and shown entrance when pub shut how to use everything etc. Put in a room which was fine but had tape down across the floor to the bathroom.
When we asked for towels, Tommy apologised and said we should not even be in that room, so he helped my husband move to a bigger and better room.
Tommy could not do enough for us. Breakfast has lots of choices. You just have to ask as there's no menu. Again Tommy brilliant with service and prompt delivery. A very happy chap. Id...

” We really enjoyed this quirky cottage. despite its age it was clean, cosy, and spacious. Appreciated the historical notes. Very interesting. Talking to neighbour Lance was also fascinating as he carefully renovates next door in keeping with the Grade II listing.
Ideal for special celebrations. Kitchen well-equipped. The fire already laid up. However, surprised that other basics seemed to be overlooked*.All nearby NT locations well worth a visit. We were lucky with the weather. Thank you!

”Was a lovely stay overall, a couple cleanliness issues with the comforter on the bed having old hair on it but otherwise was a lovely kept room and hosts were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Paignton and an amazing location. I will be back soon!”
