Very very hot fan was supplied but did absolutely nothing (it was the hottest few days) Only one window could open and that was a maximum of 3 inches We will book again but study the facilities much closer . Slightly misleading when you read the descriptions where it says "hotel apartments" Staff were very friendly and cheerful”

”On arrival, gave our room key and shown entrance when pub shut how to use everything etc. Put in a room which was fine but had tape down across the floor to the bathroom. When we asked for towels, Tommy apologised and said we should not even be in that room, so he helped my husband move to a bigger and better room. Tommy could not do enough for us. Breakfast has lots of choices. You just have to ask as there's no menu. Again Tommy brilliant with service and prompt delivery. A very happy chap. Id...

”I really liked this hotel, it was our second visit but, they completely messed up our dinner. We pre ordered the roast pork but, unfortunately they ran out! We ended up with ham, egg and chips which was laughable, the ham looked like thinly sliced spam, the egg was overcooked and we had a few oven chips! It was so bad we got up and walked out, which i have never done before and I’m 67! I have emailed the hotel but, no reply! We won’t be going back!”

”Upon arrival there was hundreds of ants in the property, on the carpet, kitchen food prep areas, beds etc. Didn't speak to the owner but after 2 1/2 hours we were found new accommodation.”

”Very warm and welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. Homely accommodation. (Stairs to rooms) but we managed with luggage. We only stayed 1 night on our journey but found it lovely and relaxing. Tea/coffee/water available along with toiletries if you forgot to pack any. Good location/safe and walkable to sea front. Parking onsite by request. Would recommend. Thanks for having us. ”Recently cosmetically modernised. Well-equipped rooms. Oddly the windows were all double glazed and sealed - so no possibility of ventilation which is an issue on a sunny day.”

”The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and spotless. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room, which was very spacious. The bed was quite comfortable and the rooms seemed to be sound-proof because it was so quiet and relaxing. Livermead beach is located across the street; the beach is beautiful, but the sand disappears at high tide, so be sure to plan your beach day around this. We also loved the stunning views from the rooftop terrace bar. We would love to return to Torquay and stay here...
