âThe hotel is in a great location right on the seafront.
Fast efficient check in and a nice room. Breakfast was very tasty.
Loved the green option of swapping a room clean for a free drink. Perfect for a 2 night stay and great for the climate.â

âWe enjoyed our stay at the Royal Hotel. The location right on the seafront made it easy to enjoy walks and the views, and the staff were welcoming throughout our visit. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the hearty breakfast set us up well for the day. The hotel has a classic seaside charm, and it provided a pleasant base for exploring Whitley Bay and the surrounding area. Overall, it was a very good experience and we would be happy to stay again. â

âIt is a quirky place. Looks very plain from the front but was a lovely place to stay. Great service from arrival to departure. Food was superb. After checking out we were on our way to Sunderland when we realised we hadn't tipped the staff so, we turned back and did so. That's how good it was. Will definitely return.â
