A window in our room was leaking and could not be closed. A lot of sand and dust and dirt from the street blew in, unfortunately also onto the open travelling bag. It could not be repaired. However, the room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was good, but not varied. The reception was very nice and we were able to shorten one night and get our money back. We thought there was a car park at the riad according to the expedia description, but we had to park outside the medina and carry our luggage to the riad (12 min walk through the souk). But all in all a very nice riad. In winter the rooms are fresh despite the radiant heaters and small heating system.

Great location, but ...
Great location, and very nice people. But the room was dark and mildewy, and the breakfast service was poor. Plus, the power went off, and they made us pay extra expenses in cash.

Disappointed
The hotel is in need of complete refurbishment it is tired and the plaster is falling off the walls in places. The rooms were far below what was expected and were a massive disappointment. We mainly booked this hotel due to the views but this was only from the rooftop. The facilities were also not as advertised and did not exist! Overall it was a dreadful 3 nights and I would not recommend staying. The spa was also one of the worst experiences although the therapists were very good.

3 days in December at Perle D’eau
Location good for getting anywhere in the Medina. Excellent view out to sea from our room. Room a bit tired and gloomy, breakfast average. Staff helpful.

Hotel tres bien situé dans la medina d Essaouira. Architecture et decoration de qualité dans une ambiance très marocaine. Personnel agreable et disponible. Petit dejeuner servi sur la terrasse au dessus de l ocean avec tres belle vue. Tout est parfait meme les massages.

Nous avons eu trois jours de pluie, il faisait froid dans le Riad qui n’est pas bien équipé. Le restaurant n’était pas ouvert pour cause de travaux bruyants sur la terrasse et ce n’était pas mentionné, le wifi ne fonctionnait pas très bien. Mais le personnel a été super gentil et a fait tout son possible pour nous aider

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Riad Perle D'eau. Great location, lovely, friendly staff and beautifully decorated. We also took advantage of the onsite facilities and had great massages whilst staying there. Stunning view of the sea from our room, the sea laps right against the riad wall. Would definitely consider staying there again.

Proprio nel cuore della Medina. Mi sono trovata molto bene, la camera era grande e molto pulita. Il personale sempre gentile e disponibile. La colazione in terrazza con vista Oceano ti fa iniziare bene la giornata. Hammam e massaggio super.

Que du bonheur !!! Riad très bien situé dans la Medina, très propre et bien entretenu, mais surtout l'extrême gentillesse d'Ernest (le propriétaire du lieu) et de toute son équipe : toujours souriant et aux petits soins pour nous. Une mention particulière pour Imad qui nous a même préparé un petit déjeuner à 6:30 du matin, rien que pour nous. Encore une fois, merci à tous : grâce à vous nous avons passé des vacances de rêve

Der Meeresblick direkt aus dem Zimmer ist umwerfend: die Ferne des Ozeans und gleichzeitig seine Nähe – direkt unter dem Fenster. Auf der Dachterrasse wird man nahezu Teil des Meeres, spürt es mit allen Sinnen und genießt gleichzeitig das großzügige Frühstück. Auch das Hamam, verbunden mit einem Durchgang, ist ein „Heimspiel“: die Köchin kann nicht nur hervorragend kochen, sondern im Hamam auch richtig „abschrubben“. Die wohltuende Massage danach sollte unbedingt in Anspruch genommen werden. Wir können das Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen und haben jede Sekunde dort genossen!

Très bien si on opte pour les suites mais cher !
Accueil très sympathique. La chambre superbe avec une vue à couper le souffle, mais parce que nous avons été surclassé ( a cause d’un incendie côté chambre sans vue). C’est superbe si on met le prix en optant pour les suites. Par contre, les autres chambres ne font pas rêver …. Petit déjeuner très correct avec options diverses. Juste l’éclairage des salles de bains à revoir .

Difficult to find the first time, but great location and welcoming and attentive staff. Wonderful breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking the sea and hammam on premises.

Ein wunderschönes Riad,alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Sehr gute Lage. Sehr schönes Frühstück auf der Dachterrase mit Traumhaften Blick über Atlantik. Schönes Zimmer. Sehr gut ausgestatet. Sehr ruhig. Das Abendessen im Riad sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Einfach Spitze! Schade, dass wir nur 3 Tage dort verbringen durften.Wir bedanken uns bei dem ganzen team für die 2 unvergessliche Tage.
