”Here is a fair and honest opinion from someone who has visited Tulum and La Veleta neighbourhood on multiple occassions. For starters, I thought I was booking Central Park Tulum, not "Lagunas" but thats on me and something to double check, as online they look the same. ”Stayed with my wife and six year old. We all loved it here. It's cozy, quiet, thoughtfully designed and is a relaxing place to stay. The staff were so nice that we came back to visit them after we'd moved on to our second hotel of the trip. I wish we'd stayed here the entire time!”

”We had an amazing stay here in a beautiful palapa roofed home. It was well equipped, even had coffee, tea and sugar. Bathroom included ample towels, and shower \ hair products. It was nicely decorated, the hammock was great to relax in and beds were comfortable. Outside was beautiful with lots of plants, tiny geckos, birds and a few resident cats which were sweet and friendly. The pool was refreshing and had a good temperature. There was a rustic covered outdoor common area with more hammocks...

”If you're in Mexico for the sun then this is not your hotel: the sun doesn't shine any time to the pool area and the beach is a 20 min drive away. Otherwise, we liked the hotel and our apartment which was nice and functional. A couple of small downsides: The TVs didn't have any TV channels, only internet, and the gym was very poorly equipped (although the selection of dumb bells was good).”

”The house is beautiful, cozy, and even nicer than the photos. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped. All rooms have AC and ceiling fans, all working perfectly. The condominium is very safe, quiet, and peaceful, with good privacy despite the houses being close together. Waking up to birds singing in the morning was lovely. ”I had a wonderful stay. Check in was quick and easy, the room was clean, air conditioned, the kitchen had the basic essentials with a market in walking distance and the pool was nice too. The housekeeping staff were so friendly and did a great job. Only downside is that it says there is a bar/restaurant which there is not but there are lots of delivery options. There are also no televisions in the rooms for anyone who might be looking for that. So, maybe bring games or a laptop or find local...

”This was a very quiet peaceful place to stay. I enjoyed the quiet. Great restaurants within walking distance. 💕 It would be nice if there was a net above the pool as there were always too many leaves in the pool. Pool maintenance was not daily. The filter should be running while the guest is staying to keep the pool cleaner. It would be nice to have a hot plate in the suite for times when you feel like staying in. Also coffee was only provided on the first day. The mini fridge was great....
