”The property is easy to find and beautiful from the start. There is plenty of parking on site. Check in was easy. Our room was spacious, bright, clean, and up to date with a large closet for luggage and coats/clothes.
The bed was super comfortable with nice crisp clean linens and comfy pillows. Very clean bathroom with a very nice stand up shower. Staff were always friendly, personable, and more than helpful. Right after we checked in we ordered room service from the bar, which was brought up...

”When you flush the toilet in bathroom it makes a horrible loud noise. Info on apartment states it has washer and dryer - it does not. It has a washer and a hanging rack. There was still food in fridge and cabinets, was only given 2 towels for 4 people. Beds are close to floor and are horrible. No roller paper in one of the bathrooms. I truly wanted to walk out. ”

”Best kept secret in Scotland. Karolyn and Chris were fantastic hosts. We spent 1 night here but wish we had spent the other 9 nights here as well. Beautiful property and most comfortable bedding I’ve had outside my own home (including 4-star hotels).
The breakfast was 5-star worthy. Worth the lodging price alone!!
I told them they should charge more - I will figure out how to tip them…”

”We had to move rooms as there was a stench coming from the bathroom plumbing. Entering the property late or ealry meant using the back entrance. We had to step over old tables and other junk to get to the back entrance. The Friday night was ok and we ate well. Just went downhill from there. Staff seemed nice enough but fighting a losing battle I fear. Place needs an overhaul.”

”What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine.”

”We stayed here for one night with my mum, and our stay was just perfect. The hotel is simply beautiful and has a real castle vibe. The best thing was that the spa was included, which we weren't aware of before arriving. We had nice dinner at the hotel and then enjoyed the rest of the evening in the spa, till it closed. It was truly relaxing stay and on top of that even though I managed to lose my necklace after leaving the spa, when I emailed the hotel later, they had managed to find it and send...

”This is a beautiful house close to the harbor. We had a triple room with bathroom. Good size room, I wish my room in Edinburgh looked like this. The whole property is spotless and up to date.
