"Rarely I am so happy and positively surprised on a boutique hotel! We had senior suite for our 4 person family for a week.
Firstly, the hotel itself is beautiful. There is small pool in the middle and nice terrace restaurant for breakfast, dinner and evening drinks. Room was ”cave style” and spacious. Especially shower room was vwry spacious and beautiful. We also had our own roof terrace with superb caldera view.
Secondly, the staff was super friendly and attending the whole week. We experienced very good service in Santorini in general, but the hotel staff clearly exceeded expectations. It is the small things like restaurant staff getting to know you and get your morning drinks automatically knowing your preferences - or staff serving you extra wine glass to enjoy the sunset. We got guidance and help with taxis, including staff taking us to the meeting place (as you cannot get close to hotel by car so eg good to let them know your arrival time to have someone help with your bags).
Our son experienced food poisoning during the last evening in one of Fira’s foodstands (”Obelix” - dont go!). Again the staff saved us by giving us very long late checkout with additional service to let our son recover prior the flight.
Having travelled and experienced luxury hotels for tens of years, this one will be one we will remeber as a great example of both unique venue and service.
