”Had a fantastic experience at Orchard Lodge. Andrew and Lucinda couldn’t be any more accommodating. Fantastic service, lovely location and spacious bedrooms.

”A fantastic hotel in a great location. Easy to find with ample car parking at the rear. Warm welcome at reception and friendly efficient service. Room was immaculate and very well maintained. Great night’s sleep, quiet location and comfortable bed. Breakfast was fab, staff friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and would happily stay there again. Thank you to all the staff at the Mayfield for a very comfortable stay.”
”Rebecca is the best! Whatever you want/need she’s there! Had a problem with the bedside lamp - she fixed it, injured my knee, she fed me (not for free I hasten to add before scores of people want the same!). She cooked my breakfast and made sure I was made to feel VERY welcome. Sort of sorry to leave!”

The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful.

”I enjoyed every day of my stay here. The staff customer service skills were fantastic. My room was the perfect size for me.You have to walk down to the basement for breakfast. No lifts inside the property which didn't bother me. I was on the top floor. Mansion House is only a 30 minutes walk to Oliver's Mount ”
”This were lovely rooms (we booked two, as there was a group of four of us) and they were identical, except one had a shower, the other a bath. They were spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfy. Staff were very helpful, it is worth noting they don't serve food on Sundays but we were guided to a local pub within five minutes walk as an alternative. ”

”The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, the breakfast well set out and good choice of exception food, bed comfortable and beautiful view from window.”
”Excellent attentive service from the owner Joe at all times nothing was too much trouble and a few minor issues were rectified immediately to our full satisfaction
Would highly recommend The Meltham Guest House if you are looking to stay adjacent to the North Bay close to all the attactions that it has to offer

”Annual trip to Scarborough for the cricket The Crescent is the best hotel I have found. I especially like the new menu in the lounge (along with the Scarborough Fair beer at 6%) I think they need to think about global warming (who would have thought that you might need air conditioning in Scarborough?).
