”A beautiful house, with a spacious and comfortable room - with a massive bath! (We paid extra for the room with a bath and we’re not disappointed.) It was wonderfully peaceful and felt so relaxing. The bed was very soft but we nevertheless slept really well because of the lovely atmosphere, quiet and airiness of the room. Friendly and professional staff. You can't get breakfast at The Maynard but their sister hotel on the corner was just minutes away, and you got a discount for being guests at The Maynard.
Staff/Service excellent.
The only thing i would say is my friend was unable to take a bath or shower as there was not a slip mat to assist in their safety.”

”Friendly staff greeting. We were upgraded and had an excellent sea view. Hotel is old and showing its age in places but for the money it was excellent value. Great location near to train station and local restaurants and pubs.”
