âVery good hotel, especially friendly and helpful service. Good location for the hikers. Definitely would come again, both for the place and for the hotel. I'd like to remind that Valnontey is most easily accessed by own/hired car, not having that I was much helped by the locals and hotel owner in getting to and from Cogne.â

Camera pulita e sempre in ordine ( passaggio anche serale). Personale estremamente gentile, disponibile nello spiegare le varie camminate da fare nei dintorni. Servizio navetta gratuito nelle varie frazioni di Cogne.

âCogne is simply beautiful. Small enough to be charming, big enough to stay busy and entertained. The Chateau Royal was a great home base. Centrally located, comfortable and we'll equipped. We originally booked two nights but added two more as it was such a great village with so much to do. We hiked, fished, rafted and paraglided plus catching some of the abundant castles and forts in the Sister Valley). This one is a do-over (we'll be back:-).â

âWhat a wonderful hotel! Excellent, personalized service. Delightful decor with plenty to see and admire at any moment. Breakfast is served at the tables with local products. The location is at the end of a pedestrian street, close to all the main shops and restaurants in Aosta, yet still very peaceful. We can't help but admire and thank them!

âThis is a lovely place to stay, and really kind and caring owners and staff. Rooms were beautifully kept, we had a lovely balcony and the location is sensational, with stunning views of the Alps and across Aosta. The included breakfast was first class. The town of Aosta itself is lovely, only a few minutes drive, very easy to find and park with a wide variety of places to eat in the evening. Itâs a great stopover if youâre travelling to and from France across the Alps. I would definitely come...
