”This is my favourite budget-friendly hotel to stay at in the UK. This is my second stay and this time it was during a heatwave, so I really appreciated the a/c. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The showers are powerful, the beds could be more comfortable, but they will do. The hotel is a two minute walk from a massive Waitrose supermarket and the rooms come equipped with a mini fridge to store whatever you need to. ”Wanted to have a drink on balcony overlooking weir unable to do so as we were not booked into restaurant.Very disappointed as the restaurant was empty staff unable to resolve issue.Hotel was shabby and not of the standard I would expect for a 4 Star Hotel .Room was not air conditioned and smelt of damp in need of a update.”

”New hotel - nice, clean, newly and tastefully decorated, great location in the middle of Henley-on-Thames, not far from the river. Good breakfast and dinner. Very nice external seating area with retractable roof and TVs to watch sport (world cup was on). Other good restaurants, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s Local nearby. Still need to fix some teething problems - coffee pods and machine provided weren’t matched, no air conditioning in the room (we stayed during a heat wave - electric fan kindly...

”Amazing stay - hotel overall heritage, and condition. Warm and helpful greeting even though we booked v last minute the hotel handled it smoothly. Dinner outside at the grill was great. Residents lounge is a nice touch and breakfast the next day was also exceptional. Thank you team !”

”Not what I expected. The room itself was nice and the environment guite cute but two major issues with the stay. 1. The room temperature must`ve been above 30 degrees (even if the temperature outside was +15). Room facing the street so opening the window felt like sleeping on the street. Not a good choice if you need to get some proper rest.”
