”The property is very clean, beautiful and well refurbished and right in the heart of Marlow. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food itself (breakfast) was a bit poor but OK. We didn't have any hot water to take a shower unfortunately but stayed only 1 night anyway. The room itself which was the only one available during booking was very very snug and air circulation at night made a bit stuffy but we would visit again , hopefully get a bigger room and hot water.”

”Offered upgrade to suite with either river or weir views and ended up near the bridge overlooking the entrance. That said the suite was lovely although 2 of the TV's werent working, a cupboard door was broken and there was insufficient toilet roll. tea/coffee selection was poor and what there was, was insufficient. If iy wasnt for the location which is amazing and the local town, the hotel would score badly.”

”Basic hotel. Clean, nice spacious room. Bathroom needs renovation. Taps, sink, toilet etc. Room was nice with wooden walls. Great bed. Restaurant okay. Food and service excellent, atmosphere not so much. Parking was easy. Location is nowhere, so be prepared for that. You get what you pay for.”

”Not what I expected. The room itself was nice and the environment guite cute but two major issues with the stay. 1. The room temperature must`ve been above 30 degrees (even if the temperature outside was +15). Room facing the street so opening the window felt like sleeping on the street. Not a good choice if you need to get some proper rest.”

”Cliveden is truly an amazing place to experience! We have stayed here before and this time was even better. Their staff is also absolutely amazing! We had quite a journey getting to England because our original flight to Paris was canceled so we got to Paris later than anticipated and then the trains to England were down because of the heat wave so we couldn't get to London as originally planned either. After over 24 hours of airports and traveling, canceled flights, missing non refundable...

Our room was spotless, and the entire estate was beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We felt very secure throughout our stay. The on-site parking, located behind secure electric gates, was particularly reassuring. Despite the area's narrow roads, access was straightforward, and the safety mirrors installed...

”Room was quite hot and the double bed was quite small. It is more suited as a single room than a true double in my opinion. Lovely bathroom and a nice property as a whole with good facilities, although I found the WiFi very slow throughout. Breakfast could be improved as the hot food was not refreshed and was a little cold and uninspiring. Need to work on the simple things, such as replacing sauces/refilling milk when empty and making sure plates are available for customers. We arrived...

”We visited the hotel for a business meetings nearby. The place is very traditional English Inn. Nice pub with good food. The rooms are clean and ok, but the place is a little worn down. I a still like it.”
