”I knew we were in trouble when I saw the carpet in the hallway. In the room the floor was sticky. Every step in the room we could hear our shoes peeling off of the floor. The shower was dirty. I had to wear crocs in there. The baseboards were filthy. There were streaks of varying colors on the walls. It had a heavy, sour/sweet weird smoky smell. ”Parking was decent, room was clean although hours had the faint smell of cigarettes even though it was a nonsmoking room. Breakfast was a disappointment with the only hot things being coffee and toast, but not a big deal. Not a bad stay, A/C worked and no real problems”

”They had a double queen bed listed and after I booked and drove there they told me they don’t have those rooms available AND I’m still being charged trying to find my refund.”

”They canceled our room before we could ever check in. No notification no nothing. We were three hours from home and everywhere around there was booked. A refund is supposed to be in process. The guy at the front desk was a smart ass and condescending about the whole thing.”

”Don’t plan to use the pool! It’s “under construction”. Don’t plan to sit on the lobby to play games or just hang out unless you like to sit in 82 degree temps when it’s 85 outside. The thermostat was set at that! Staff would constantly ask what room you was in. Will not be staying again.”

I reserved a room two weeks in advance and came to the property only to reveal they over booked so at 9pm I had to find a new hotel, with no refund! The place was dirty and I’m honestly glad they canceled my reservation, because I wouldn’t have wanted to sleep there. However, a notification would have been nice instead of me driving all the way to the property to find out my room was given away…”

”Our room was "picked up," not "clean." There was long hairs stuck to the bathroom walls and inside the shower from previous guests. Overall, the walls and table surfaces could use a good scrubbing, because there was dirt/food buildup and smudges throughout. In retrospect, I should have just spent the extra $20-$30 to stay at a nearby Super 8, Motel 6 or Best Western.”
