”Had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus South Holland/Chicago Southland! Enjoyed my stay so much that they would be my preferred and first choice of a hotel stay anytime I come to Chicago to visit. Safe, clean, modern, convenient location, complementary breakfast, daily housekeeping, family friendly, and friendly staff. ”The hotel isn’t what it’s advertised as there is no pool, there’s no microwave or fridge in the room. The continental breakfast was cereal and waffles but by the time you get through everything is gone. When I mentioned the floors and the shower being dirty I was told I was wrong. The bed is covered in plastic and the plastic is hot the sheets don’t stay on you get a thin blanket and a flat sheet that’s it. Asking staff for anything is moot cause they barely speak English and if they talk to you...

”The floor in the room was disgusting. The bottom of my socks were black when I took them off. There were wires hanging out where the smoke detector was. The ice machine was empty. ”I think the advertisement was misleading because they didn’t state that it’s under construction. The hallways smelled of marijuana and the beds are extremely hard. The refrigerator in my room was very dirty.”

”The room was clean. The gentleman at the front desk who checked me in was absolutely wonderful. Ordered dinner in from a local restaurant that makes incredible jerk chicken. Whenever see a bedbug sticks on the floor in the room what goes on like this, at this price for $105, and saw a bedbug on beds in the backward. This hotel should shut down all due health concerns to be safe.”
