”Clear communication and kind interaction with management. Such a fun place to stay with children who can explore the woods, endlessly and find magic in every nook and cranny. The extra wood available for the fire pit was so great and appreciated. We were unable to find bug repellent that stated would be left, but we didn’t have any issues. Kitchen is a little sparse for needs and maybe some more child friendly size eating where, but all the basics were there and everything was comfortable. Check...

”We really loved this property. Amazing sunsets and enjoyed seeing the changes with the tides. The porch is literally over the water during high tide. The house was so well stocked and very clean. We loved the upper loft and looking out at the water from the upper bedroom. It felt very home-y and comfortable. If we are able to come back to Whidbey Island we hope to stay at this property again. A real gem!!”

”We had never been to this area and the house was the perfect home base to use to explore the area. There’s a lot of beaches and state parks to enjoy on the island and we also explored the area’s other features including Port Townsend and wineries/cideries. The house was beautifully maintained and comfortable and we loved being there and on the water. ”

”The layout is brilliant for a multi-generation vacation! Beautiful home, comfy beds, basketball court, hot tub, gas grill and fire pit -- all wonderful. Absolutely perfect! The only criticism: not enough toilet paper, dishwasher pods, empty liquid soap containers in the main bathroom and main shower. A "starter pack" of these things is just plain silly! ”

”My spouse, son & I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, and the house had everything we needed to fix simple meals and enjoy cozy evenings. I suggest that before coming to Whidbey Island that you review ferry schedules! You may be able to reserve passage, but must do so well in advance in summer, etc. Overall, a delightful experience for us all!”

The house is nicely arranged for accommodating couples, families, and individuals, and provides a comfortable spot for spending relaxing time on beautiful Hat Island. The lot and picnic table across the road provide a wonderful view of Puget Sound, boats, and the state ferries.”
