”Aamiaisen sai tilata listalta, erittäin maistuvat vaihtoehdot. Henkilökunta ystävällisiä ja avuliaita”

”Enjoyed our 3 nights stay. Breakfast was fantastic easy parking, and great facilities with comfortable rooms and good WIFI, would return in the future”

”A very quaint period public house. Our room was quite small but definitely adequate for our 2 night stay. Obviously to be expected with a quaint period public house. The bar was well stocked and plenty of room at the bar, surrounding tables and restaurant. The staff were very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. Overall a very pleasurable stay and my wife is already planning to revisit with a friend. The 8 Bells is a perfect location to walk to the Bolney wine vineyard and neighbouring...

”An ok place to spend a night.”

”The property was great for parking and good service from the staff.”

”La habitación muy amplia y luminosa y con aire acondicionado que nos salvó la semana. Bien localizado y atendido. Un completo acierto”

”The hotel was very cosy, and the room was spacy. They had excellent full English breakfast. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.”

”Booked a suite. Arrived early, asked if any chance to get a room earlier because of travelling a lack of sleep. Told, the would call us if possible. No call.. sat at reseption… at 2pm asked again, reply was ”no it is 4pm”. Sat there and watched many guests check in at 2.30. We spoke to the manager and she was no help, just adamant, It turns out, you pay for a suite and you are left till last, so book a normal room, pay less and enjoy your room more. Cleaning: Room was not cleaned properly. Hair...

”Central location to everywhere and great facility to dine in or dine out. Clean and reasonable costs.”

”Clean room. Nice quirky hotel/guest house. Good location. Helpful friendly staff on arrival. No front desk but WhatsApp contact details given. Air conditioning unit very noisy and cannot use without the window open. Good for a stay in the cooler weather out of season but wouldn’t recommend for the weather we are currently having. Ear plugs were supplied by the hotel but I don’t find them comfortable to wear to sleep. I would definitely stay again just not in August.”

”My “compact double” was huge, it had even a separate dressing space! The room must have been redone quite lately as everything was so nice and everything was kept very clean. Service was impeccable during my whole stay, in the bar, the breakfast and especially in the reception. The location is the best possible; by the sea and buses leave 50 m from the doorstep. The only thing that disturbed me was that the room was pretty warm although I slept with the windows open. There was a fan, but at...

”Very convenient straightforward stay! The ensuite room is very spacious and has a lot of handy extra bits like an iron and hair dryer, and a smart TV! The only downsides I'd say are the noise since its on a main road and poorly sound proofed. It would also be great if they could get a full size mirror Overall great stay!”

”We stayed in”

”No lift! The hotel listing does say that all upper floors are only accessible by stairs (it's a listed building and they aren't able to install a lift) but if you miss that information, it can be a bit of a shock if you are less able-bodied. Our room was on the third floor and quite a trek with a baby each time we came and went. However... the staff were more than willing (in fact, they insisted) to help with our small amount of luggage and show us to our room. They also said that anything we...
