”I was nervous to stay here, given previous poor reviews but actually I think they were far too harsh. This is an old, period property with wooden beamed ceilings and wonky walls! So it’s not modern and would benefit from new carpets etc. But it’s clean and quiet and perfectly adequate for the price. I would stay again if in the area. ”

”This is a small hotel in a good location just a couple of minutes walk from the Brighton Pier. I stayed alone in a small (bigger than London small) room with a comfy bed, good shower, wall-tv and a fridge. Quite comfortable in March-April, however might get hot in the summer as there's no AC in this room.
Breakfast also available, I did not use this opportunity. Service very friendly, made you feel welcome. Price level also very reasonable: I will definitely consider staying here again if back...

”Beautiful old hotel right by the sea and close to everything. The hotel has old charm and glamour, but needs some updating. We stayed in a room that hadn't been refurbished (we were told that all rooms should be done by April 2025). Room basically had no window since it was facing the opposite wall less than one meter away. I would definetely recommend to book a room that faces sea or atleast a streetview unless it is just a place to sleep.
