”We loved this place and regretted that we were only here one night. Our room was quite small, which was fine for a night, but I would get a larger room next time The property backs up to Camp Richardson, so it was very quiet. I loved taking out a bike to ride the bike trail through the area. The owners are great, very accommodating. This place is a work of love and it shows. ”

”We loved that the back door leads right to the beach. It is a family friendly place and it was so nice to be able to let the kids right outside our room. The pool and hot tub was very nice and clean. Everyone is super friendly. It was very nice to have a kitchen in the room so we could save some money on food. The room got a little warm because there is no AC, but there were fans. The pillows were not very comfy, would definitely bring pillows. ”

”There is not a front desk person. It is self check in and out however you are provided a number if you need anything and they are very prompt at replying and getting whatever you need taken care of. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities you could need. It was in close walking distance of the Lake Side Beach. The hotel will provide you with 50% off tickets to the beach if you’d like. It is also very easy to walk to all the shopping/restaurants. We would stay here again. ”

”This looks like a renovated motel with small rooms and decorated like a cabin inside. It's on a noisy traffic corner but quiet inside to sleep except we could hear the people through the wall next door. We sat outside and there was a little bird that had a nest that was feeding the babies that we enjoyed. I would recommend this because it was clean but there are no amenities on the property. We enjoyed our stay and liked having a kitchen in it. Only thing missing was a wine opener but we didn't...

”Cozy diamond in the rough. With proximity to lots of good places to eat and the beach, it was very easy to use the lodge as our home base.
