”Excellent place in lovely setting, good food”

”Great place to stay. All staff were welcoming and friendly. Very dog friendly and comfortable. A few dog rules but nothing out of ordinary - Easy to abide by. Car park to rear. Bedroom was clean and well equipped. Bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast choice good. Presented well and very tasty. We also had a very good experience of restaurant meal in the evening. Some wall/ floor areas in the place were knocked and marked but its a bar/restaurant so some wear and tear is expected from customer...

”Had a lovely stay in this apartment . It was excellent. Very very clean and comfortable, with everything you could need and a lot of little extras. Just a couple of steps over to the clifftop in Barton on sea. Would definitely stay again.”

”Great place to stay in heart of Christchurch, overlooking the cathedral. The renovations are beautiful, giving a relaxing, arty vibe in which to relax, with a high standard of decor. Staff are fantastic, very friendly whilst professional, and made all guests feel really welcome. Great welcome on arrival, friendly, pleasant and helpful. All seemed to enjoy working there! It could do with some sofas/easy chairs for guests to relax in apart from the bar, ‘cafe’, or restaurant areas, but this didn’t...

”Spotless. Resupply of milk, cookies and other water! Food fabulous! Just a tad noisy it carries, with bar, restaurant all the one room, no carpet but in the summer I am sure with doors open that would soon be fixed.”

”Hotel was in a good location and room was nice. A couple of the fittings need attention and the cleaners did not replace “consumables”. It is a self checkout so can’t rate the stafff. Overall a good stay”

”We had the twin room that had all the facilities needed and was lovely, beds were comfortable as were the pillows, all felt fresh and clean, the owners were on hand as stated very pleasant and parking was available. Location was perfect for us as were attending the Vitality Stadium a mere 15 minute walk away, as was the beach in the in the opposite direction.”

”Room was ok, bed very comfortable and clean. Internet was ok, but you only get 30 mins free per day. Seems very odd to limit this or extend for payment in this day and age when paying over 100 per night for a simple room. ”

”Beautiful hotel with no expense spared on recent fit out with great furnishings. Very comfortable hotel with fantastic staff who's attention to detail is fantastic. I mentioned at lunch that I was Coeliac and laster when we checked in to our room gluten free biscuits were placed on the tea tray. A small detail but I have never experianced this before in an hotel. The food in the restaurant is also first class. Unfortunately we were unable to return on Sunday for lunch as it was fully booked!”
