We reserved this hotel for 4 nights and 5 days but were forced to leave after the first night. This property is unhygienic and absolutely disgusting.
We checked in around 8 PM and went out to explore Ben Thanh Market. The location is the only positive thing I can mention. Everything else was unacceptable.
The hotel advertises “noise-canceling” rooms, which is completely misleading. You can hear your neighbors showering, coughing, and moving around. Sleep was nearly impossible.
The room itself was falling apart. The wallpaper was peeling. The bed sheets were stained, and I found a used nose strip on my pillow, which clearly shows the sheets were not changed. There was hair left behind on the pillows and stuck to the shower head, making it obvious the room had not been properly cleaned. To make matters worse, there was visible mold in the air vents — a serious hygiene concern.
The towels were ripped and unusable. The toilet paper was tossed to the side instead of properly mounted. Every detail reflected neglect and a complete lack of basic cleanliness standards.
We only stayed the one night because it was late and we had no immediate alternative. That was a mistake. Between the noise, the filth, and the itchy sheets, we barely slept. The entire environment felt dirty and poorly maintained.
The refund process has been equally frustrating. I contacted Expedia multiple times and spoke with five different agents. Still have not received a refund and it’s been weeks.
